Churchill’s Renaissance!! March 6th, 2010!!

It is finally upon us…. We needed to have an official celebration of our relaunched 50 tap, 2 cask ridiculous setup. It has come up quickly, and we are putting on a crazy lineup. We are also putting a big smoker on the patio and throwing a whole pig and a bunch of turkey legs(sorry, vegetarians) in to slow cook and serve on the cheap. We are trying to throw a commemorative shirt into the mix as well. If you notice, I’m pretty punchy and my eyes are red and swollen from not sleeping for 2 weeks to get it done!

I am happy to announce and release a special beer from our dear, dear friends at Port/Lost Abbey. The fabulous Mr. Tomme Arthur aged some highly secret stout blend in Jack Daniels barrels for a year. Yes, I’ve been patiently awaiting this beer for over a year. We will be releasing this beer on during our Renaissance for $25 a bottle. We will allot only so much to go. We will also have a very limited amount on draft. He really went all out on this beer. The label is beautiful and we are gold waxing the bottles as well. It is called “Churchill’s Finest Hour”.
