Ballast Point Beer Dinner 2/24

The following are the details of the Ballast Point Pairing Dinner with the head brewer. The dinner is $35 a person and we have sold a bunch of seats by word of mouth at the pub already. It is on February 24th at 7:00pm. Please email me asap or call the pub to make your reservations. We are limiting the number of people, so time is of the essence.

5 Course Meal for $35 A Head

1st Course: Mixed green salad sprinkled with cardamom candied walnuts and a citrus vinaigrette. Paired with Wahoo Wheat.

2nd Course: Seared tuna with a ginger drizzle and a side seaweed salad. Paired with Cask-Conditioned Big Eye IPA infused with Ginger

3rd Course: Frozen fruit medley along with a lime sorbet topped with fresh mint. Paired with Ballast Point Spirits Gin Mule Cocktail

4th Course : A modified take on a traditional German dish called a Bamberg Onion. A pair of smoked pork stuffed onions that are caramelized and topped with bacon. One will have a radicchio and white bean stuffing, the other will have a tomato and potato stuffing. It will also include a T&H Meats smoked pork rib and grilled zucchini and peppers. Paired with Abandon Ship Smoked Lager.

5th Course: House made vanilla cake topped with a coffee whipped cream and a chocolate dipped espresso bean all drizzled with a coffee sauce. Paired with Victory at Sea Coffee/Vanilla Imperial Porter
